The public is invited to visit the grounds of the John Brown House on Friday, June 19th from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States.

While the John Brown House is currently closed during Phase III "Accessible to All" for preservation and renovation work, attendees will see a preview of the John Brown Abolitionist Ohio Historical Marker as well as images from the exhibit "Family. Farm. Freedom."
