The Summit County Historical Society of Akron, OH, is celebrating its centennial! Join in the fun by attending our annual meeting on May 22nd at the Akron Woman's City Club. The cash bar opens at 5:30 p.m. followed by a short business meeting. After a lovely meal, the program will conclude with a presentation about the current exhibit in the Perkins Stone Mansion. You Are Cordially Invited features one hundred years of weddings. The talk will highlight someone you know as the dresses, accessories and photos on display are on loan from Society neighbors, directors, volunteers, staff and friends.

Thanks to Pearl Coffee, the Society will be selling the company's Hell's Half Acre coffee that has been made especially for our centennial. Interested in the title, attend to learn more! We'll also be serving this coffee during the meeting.
Society Centennial Donors, those individuals who have donated $1,000 for the centennial, will receive a special gift at the event.
