Farm Friday - Juneteenth programming for kids

Jun 16, 2023

Free Farm Fridays start at 10:30 a.m. each Friday in June, July and August.

Students are broken up into two groups (preschool through 1st grade / 2nd grade through 6th grade) with age appropriate programming and activities. On June 16th, the theme will be Juneteenth. Students will participate in a walk along the Underground Railroad to meet historical individuals of the past presented by Society volunteers under the leadership of Reva Golden, Society education and outreach coordinator.

Younger students will sing songs and complete arts/crafts.

Please park on the corner grass lot of S. Portage Path and Copley Road or at the new John Brown House parking lot off 514 Diagonal Road. Check in at the tent by the Perkins Stone Mansion.
