The 2023 Sacred Structures of Summit County will feature locations connected to the Society's centennial with the Perkins family and religious buildings that have a different use than originally constructed.
Thank you to our presenting sponsors and founder of the program, Bob Hutchison & Lora Suttles and Tom Hutchison.
Meet at the John Brown House by 1:30 p.m. to sign your waiver, pick up your instructions/goodie bag and check out the Hanukkah and Kwanzaa display before going off on your holiday adventure. Bring your Christmas cash as you'll have opportunities to do a bit of shopping at Akron Glass Works and the Society's Wood Shed Emporium when you end the tour at the Perkins Stone Mansion to see Christmas Though the Decades. The Society's Centennial Christmas features a different decade in each room highlighting 1920s through 2020s.
The event is free and open to the public with a request of donations that will be shared with the sites visited.
